Spanish Pole-Dancing and Doma: Type 1

I've been living in Buenos Aires since September. Understandably, the culture is wearing off on my a bit. If there's nothing better than fine beef in a sexy city, it's the presence horses in the middle of a metropolis. I've abandoned the poetic pursuit of the gaucho in the city so far. No chap-clad cowboys police these streets, whip in one hand, mate in the other. The horses I've seen tramping through Palermo have generally been towing garbage wagons. But the drivers do drink mate.

Here's a haphazard synthesis of tradition. The video is of some traditional Spanish pole-dancing between man and horse. And you thought you only saw this type of shit in Mexico.) The music is Swedish house. Go figure.
